Why I publicly call out toxic network marketers

I read a post on Threads post about someone lured into a seminar for a "RM10k side hustle". Made my blood boil.

Hotel ballroom. Cult-like cheering. Phones banned. Classic brainwashing tactics. I've been in those rooms.

Everyone jumping and screaming "YES! YES! YES!"
Me in the corner thinking "Can I cabut now ah?"

Never once mentioning actual earnings. Just "BELIEVE AND ACHIEVE!"

That's why when I finally joined network marketing, I chose differently.
My sponsor told me up front how much he will earn when I buy.
No mystery. No "depends on your dreams."
Just facts.

I can tell ANYONE my earnings:

• First 4 months: RM0

• Month 5: RM10k

• January 2024: RM30k

• Some months: RM3k

No shame. No secrets. Just truth.

Compare this to traditional business:

• RM200k investment

• RM60k debt

• 2 years of losses

• Zero transparency until too late

vs Network Marketing (done properly):

• No monthly overhead

• Clear commission structure

• Can walk away anytime

Even better - customers who just want the product?

They can earn back their cost with 8-14 referrals. Not recruiting. Just sharing with friends who need it.

Some months back, another network marketer tried to pitch me. Brought his suited "mentor" to Starbucks.
Big shot talking about "unlimited potential."

I asked: "How much will YOU make if I buy today?"
Mentor: "It depends. You buy this package, got how many points, how many level etc etc."

Here's what pisses me off: These people aren't protecting trade secrets. They're hiding their shame. 

Real businesses show real numbers. Real leaders share real struggles. Real opportunities survive daylight.

When you can publicly say: "I made RM30k in January after 4 months of zero..." You strip away the cult's power.

No more mysterious "opportunities." No more hotel ballroom hypnosis. Just business. Clean and clear.

That's why I publicly call out these practices. Someone needs to show there's another way.
