RM50,000 won't even buy you a failed cafe
Let me save you RM200,000 and 2 years of hell. That amount won't even cover your first mistake.
I see these questions on Threads every week.
"I have RM20,000. What business should I start?"
"Got RM50,000 savings. Can open cafe or not?"
Let me save you RM200,000 and 2 years of hell. That amount won't even cover your first mistake.
Here's the math that killed my business:
Startup costs: RM80,000
Monthly overhead: RM27,000
Personal expenses: RM5,000
That's RM32,000 bleeding out every month. Your RM50,000? 6 weeks gone liao.
Before you even find your first customer. "But Kon, I'll make sales immediately!" Correct. I also did.
Month 1: RM8,000 revenue
Month 2: RM12,000 revenue
Month 3: RM15,000 revenue
Still losing RM17,000 monthly. Still dying.
The harsh truth nobody tells you: That cafe you dream about?
Minimum RM150,000 startup.
Plus you need to standby 6 months reserves: RM180,000
Total: RM330,000 just to MAYBE survive.
Okay la, may not a cafe. May be just a small gerai.
After you minus buying equipment, and monthly expenses.
You still drain a lot of money before you start making em.
Your RM50,000 is like bringing a water pistol to a forest fire.
But wait, I'm not saying don't start a business.
I'm saying don't start THAT business.
The one with rent. Staff. Inventory. Overhead that eats you alive.
Smart money protects downside first.
When I had RM200,000, I opened a physical business.
Lost everything. Plus RM80,000 debt.
Now with less than RM10,000? I built bigger business with network marketing.
Same entrepreneurship. Different risk profile.
No rent sucking RM8,000 monthly. No staff requiring RM15,000 payroll. No inventory tying up capital.
Just pure business building. Testing. Growing.
Your RM20,000 can actually work here.
Not because it's "easy money" or "get rich quick."
But because the model respects capital preservation.
You're not paying for infrastructure. You're investing in systems that scale.
Products? Already got.
Logistics? Kautim for you.
Technology? Already built.
E-Invoicing, Accounting, all those things? You don't have to worry.
You focus on one thing: Building customer base.
And what if I tell you: You can do this without becoming that annoying MLM person.
No chasing friends. No fake coffee sessions. No "Hey bro, long time no see!"
Use proven marketing methods and psychology to bring customers to you.
The same RM50,000 that gets you a failed cafe...
Can build you a profitable network marketing business.
With money left over for mistakes.
Because in business, you WILL make mistakes.
The question is: Can you afford them?
In traditional business, one mistake kills you.
In smart models, mistakes are tuition fees. I'm looking for 3 people ready to build differently.
Not with big capital and bigger overhead.
But with smart capital and zero overhead.
Building businesses that respect both your money and relationships.
Reply "SMART START" if you want to see exactly how.
No cults. No cringe. No chasing.
Just business building for people who can do math.
Always cheering you on
Kon
P.S. Once you've built your solid financial base, that's when you got more bullets to build that dream business of yours. Cafe la, gym la, car wash la, whatever.
