How I lost RM200k to financial fight or flight
When I ran business from survival mode, I made survival decisions. Each "solution" dug my grave deeper.
I was listening to Laura Tynan talk about law of attraction last night.
Chartered accountant turned wealth mentor.
What she said, I've heard 1,000 times before.
"Your nervous system influences your financial outcome."
I've consumed many law of attraction content in the last couple of years.
Yes, some of you are saying woo-woo, but I'm not going into that.
Because this time, something clicked.
I remember one particular night back when I was still in my previous business,
I was lying on bed 2am. Heart racing. The numbers were racing in my head.
Numbers screaming at me:
Rent: RM5,000
Payroll: RM15,000
Bank balance: RM12,000 - and I still had to feed my family.
That was my first taste of financial fight or flight.
Not the motivational poster version where you "feel the fear and do it anyway."
The real version. Where opening banking app make you stress.
Where you wonder which bill can pay later.
Where you wonder will there be food on the table next week.
Here was what happened when I ran business from survival mode.
I made survival decisions:
RM1,000 unlimited car washes (lost money on every customer)
30% desperate discounts (trained customers to wait for sales)
RM2,500 coating with 7-year warranty (impossible to fulfill profitably)
Each "solution" dug my grave deeper.
Because when your monthly overhead is RM27k and you're scrambling to cover it...
Your business isn't a business. It's a prison you built yourself.
Now that I don't have those numbers hanging over my head.
I've actually come up with better solutions that would have legitimately saved my business.
Not because I'm smarter now. But because the gun's no longer at my head.
Fear makes you stupid. Desperation makes you dangerous. To yourself.
That's why I chose network marketing for my rebuild.
No RM27k monthly overhead breathing down my neck. No payroll keeping me awake. No rent threatening eviction.
Just pure business building without survival pressure.
When prospects say "not interested," I can genuinely say "no problem."
Because my rent doesn't depend on their yes.
When someone needs time to think, I give it.
Because I'm not calculating which bill to skip if they don't join today.
This isn't about law of attraction or manifesting abundance.
It's about simple math: Lower overhead = clearer thinking = better decisions.
Network marketing isn't perfect. No business model is.
But for regular people transitioning from employment?
It's a great model that lets you build without a gun to your head.
I'm looking to build with 3 people by 31 December 2025.
No chasing your "list of 100."
Strangers reaching out about your business.
Using my AI-powered attraction methods.
Not theory. Live case studies of real people building without desperation.
Because I learned the hard way: The best business decisions come from peace, not panic.

No monthly overhead. No desperation. No survival mode. Just clear-headed business building the way it should be.
