Free advice got me zero sales (here's why)

The Ferengi in Star Trek have a saying free advice is seldom cheap. What I learned, free advice is not only costly, but never yields results.

A story outside of network marketing - but the lesson comes back to that.

The Ferengi in Star Trek have a saying free advice is seldom cheap. What I learned, free advice is not only costly, but never yields results.

A property agent asked me to help him make video.
"You help me promote my property on your channel, I'll pay you commission when we close deals."
I saw the money was good. I said yes.

He didn't pay anything up front. I shot the videos.
What we got? Poor leads. No sales. No commission.
I felt used and unappreciated.

But when I reflected later on, the real lesson hit me:
Because he paid nothing, he owned nothing.
No skin in the game = no commitment to results.

After a few videos. A few leads. No sales.
Then quietly, never heard from him.
Cost him nothing to waste my time.
Except, his opportunity to create real results.

Fast forward to today.
Kendrick paid over RM18k to join my team.
Almost quit at one point. Thought the methods too hard.
But because he invested, he persisted.

Our processes turned it around.
Now? "60+ DMs asking about my business in 2 months."
With just 30 minutes daily.

Shaun invested USD 998. Zero social media experience.
Result? "5 high-quality appointments booked, 1.6 million views in 30 days."

The difference? They paid to play.
So they OWNED their transformation.

When property agent got my free work...
He treated it like free work.
No urgency. No focus. No results.

When Kendrick and Shaun invested real money...
They showed up daily. Asked questions.
Implemented feedback. Got results.

My methods are freely available in my content.
You reading this email? That's free value.

But personalized guidance? That requires investment.

Not because I'm greedy. Because transformation requires ownership.

When you invest nothing, you commit to nothing.
When you invest real money, you commit to real change.

It's human psychology.
We value what we pay for.
We ignore what we get free.

This is why I now have a strict code: "Pay to Play. No exceptions."

No more commission deals.
No more "try first, pay later."
No more wasting everyone's time.

Free advice creates freeloaders.
Paid guidance creates leaders.
I learned this the hard way.

Through wasted hours.
Through bitter disappointment.
Through watching non-payers disappear like ghosts.

Now I know better.
My time has value.
My expertise has worth.

Why give it away to people who won't even show up?
What boundaries do YOU need to set to protect your value?
Where are you giving away your best for free?
Who's getting your expertise without earning it?

Maybe it's time for your own "Pay to Play" rule.

Comment "INVEST" if you're ready to own your transformation.
See my blueprint and decide if you're ready to invest with me.
Not for everyone.
Only for those ready to put skin in the game.

Always cheering you on,
Kon

P.S. That property agent? Still looking for free solutions. Some people never learn that free advice is the most expensive mistake you can make.
